Abstract

Learning Outcomes

This case can be used to teach students the complexities of addressing gender disparities in organizational leadership within professional settings. Upon completion of the case discussion, students will be able to understand how gender functions as a social determinant of health and its influence on leadership dynamics; assess the strategic motivations and challenges in embedding gender equity in workplace structures; identify systemic barriers to inclusive leadership; and evaluate the organizational readiness for implementing gender-focused interventions. Additionally, students will engage in collaborative group analysis to strengthen their decision-making skills and propose actionable strategies that support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
