Dr. Edward Mungai is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Partnership and Development at Strathmore University in Kenya. He oversees the university’s strategic planning, fundraising, alumni relations, and development initiatives. Dr. Mungai is also a faculty member at the Strathmore University Business School, specialising in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from IESE Business School, a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Mathematics, as well as additional qualifications in Computer Science and Executive Development. His professional background includes roles as the CEO of the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre Group and as a commissioner for the Kenya Government’s Ethics Commission for Cooperative Societies. Dr. Mungai has a robust academic and professional profile, including previous leadership roles at the University of Nairobi and international teaching engagements.
