Dr. Colette Southam is an Associate Professor of Finance at Bond University, Australia, an Adjunct Professor at the Ivey Business School, Canada and a Professor at One League. Dr Southam has a PhD in Finance from Ivey and more than 20 years of experience teaching case-based courses at the undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, and PhD levels. She founded the Australian Business Case Network to help overcome impediments to case teaching in Australia. She is the recipient of Universities Australia Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning and her Vice Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning through Sustained Innovation. Professor Southam is Associate Editor of the Asian Case Research Journal, and her cases have been best sellers and classics at Ivey Publishing, Harvard Business Publishing, and The Case Centre. Professor Southam’s research focuses on helping companies improve their corporate and international financial decision making with specific interests in ESG and international capital raising.
